As an alumnus of MGM School of Physiotherapy, I am filled with pride and gratitude for the education and experiences that I gained during my time there. From the moment I set foot on campus, I was welcomed into a community of like-minded individuals who were committed to their academic and personal growth. The institution's faculty, staff, and fellow students provided a supportive and challenging environment that pushed me to reach my full potential.
The faculty members were not only experts in their fields but were also passionate about sharing their knowledge and experiences with their students. They provided me with the tools and resources I needed to succeed and challenged me to think critically and creatively. I am forever grateful for the mentor-ship and guidance I received from them, as it played a significant role in shaping my career. ”

When I look at my peers from other institutes/colleges, I realise that how lucky I am that I got an exposure to different streams during my postings which gave me a head start and confidence over others. I realise now that I am in such an honourable profession and the worth of the white coat all thanks to MGM ”

Completing Bachelor's and Masters of Physiotherapy from MGMSOP has been a strong asset. The excellent and supportive teaching imparted splendid skills and knowledge which gave me the confidence to launch my own Physiotherapy Centre at Kanjurmarg after gaining a few years of experience in a private setup. Being among the first few of its kind in the area gives me the previlage to treat patients on first contact basis ”

Since graduating in 2020 from MGM School of Physiotherapy (MGMSOP), I haven’t looked back. I’ve enjoyed a career beginning as a fellow in Cancer Rehabilitation, before working as an Onco-Physiotherapist at Tata Memorial Hospital- Parel, Mumbai.
During this tenure, i pursued skill-development in Bone and Soft tissue Cancer Rehabilitation, Palliative Care, Intensive care management along with COVID-19 Pulmonary Therapy.
I am currently working at Shrimad Rajchandra Covid Dedicated Centre in the rural area of South Gujarat - Dharampur, Valsad District. This centre is the only intensive critical care centre in the radius of 25km. I’m currently working at the frontline along with training budding physiotherapists for pulmonary rehabilitation.
This experience has inspired me to pursue a Masters degree in Critical Care Physiotherapy. The excellent teaching I received at MGMSOP not only gave me the skills and knowledge to launch me into a rewarding career as a physiotherapist, but also gave me the confidence to accept a role to inspire future physiotherapy careers. The facilities were excellent and the teaching staff were passionate, supportive and progressive. Having now moved into training therapists myself I can really appreciate the hard work put in by the staff day in, day out. I’d highly recommend the MGMSOP in Physiotherapy to any budding physiotherapists out there. ”

It helped me to identify my area of interest which is critical care Physiotherapy and Pulmonary rehabilitation. And today I am working as an Assistant professor in a reputed institution. ”

I completed my BPT from MGM School of Physiotherapy in year 2015.The passionate and experienced staff challenge and inspire your best, providing an unparallel quality of education and and incredible sense of personal accomplishment. Campus has exceptional facilities and resources. We used to have out postings as well at various hospital, geriatric aasharams, paraplegic centres and community rural posting as well. They prepare students to face real life challenges that outer world throws after graduation.
After completing my BPT I decided to join Bombay Hospital and Medical research center as full time Physiotherapist. I gained practical and clinical experience, inter and intra team work with other Professionals as well. After practicing for 1.5 years. I decided to pursue masters from same institute considering facilities teaching learning style, supportive staff. They acts facilitator in our academic journey..
I enrolled for MPT in 2016-18. My clinical reasoning skills, academic skills, clinical skills, critical thinking skills ,diagnosing skills and research skills got polished.. I became better Professional and person.
They instilled ethical values as well and ignited our mind. I have always striven to be better and more successful person than I was.. I would give credit of my present achievements to my college and professors. The discipline and knowledge that I gained in this institute is still helping me reach heights in my career.
With almighty's grace I started my own clinical setup in South Mumbai after My MPT in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2018...I feel along with Physiotherapy skills one needs to work on leadership skills , communication skills and time management skills as well to grow professionally and personally as well. I conduct health/Physiotherapy camps, deliver health talk for general public awareness. I have been invited as guest lecturer at Lovely Professional University ,Punjab in February 2021...I was invited by IAP Women cell too to deliver seminar in July 2018...I deliver educational evidence based webinars as well.
I am equally inclined towards academics and research. In future I would like to attached myself with teaching and research institute as well. I would like to produce better Physiotherapist. PhD is also in my list but for that I need good burning research question. I would expend time and energy on PhD if it's meaningful and in alignment with where my life is heading. Qualifications are meaningless unless they bring joy/purpose. One should have selfish and rationale desire to do PhD.
I am grateful to MGM School of Physiotherapy for igniting interest in research methodology and for shaping my career so far .MGM is research oriented institute which I feel is best part about institute because without research we are not better than glorified school.
I have always recommended MGM School Of Physiotherapy to all my juniors and friends. Many of them have joined and cherished similar experience and journey. ”

Ever since graduating from MGM in March 2020 I have been nothing but thankful towards the institute. I had unknowingly developed All the skills that I needed to move forward with my career but I didn’t realise this until I started working as an Intern in a Clinical setup In Mulund. I always thought that the working of privatesetups would be very different from what I was taught throughout my Bachelor’s, but that wasn’t the case. Which is why 2 months after interning I easily secured a Job as an Assistant Physiotherapist. Within 1 month I got promoted and I was allowed to manage an entire clinic on my own. All this has encouraged me to widen my knowledge by Pursuing my Masters in sports and exercise medicine. ”
