The Integrated Geriatric Care Short Term Fellowship Program will enable the healthcare professionals:

  • To understand the theories of aging, effects of aging on the body systems and conditions commonly encountered
    • by older adults.
  • To understand the importance of nutrition in older adults.

  • To identify mobility dysfunction in older adults for maintenance/restoration of optimal function and quality of life.

  • To understand the physiological basis of impaired balance in older adults and to identify fall risk in older adults.

  • To identify urinary incontinence in older adults.

  • To be able to describe the causes and types of sleep disorders and to identify insomnia in older adults.

  • To identify the factors causing physical and cognitive functional impairments in older adults.

    • 📅 Dates : 1st March, 2025 to 3rd May, 2025 (9 weeks training program)
    Mode of delivery: Online + Offline [45 hours Theory + 60 hours Practical=105 hours of training, 5 credit hours]
